Introduction to Volume

Volume measures the amount of space inside a three-dimensional object. It tells us how much a container can hold and is essential for packaging, storage, and construction.

For prisms, volume is calculated by finding the area of the base and multiplying by the height. This principle applies to all prisms, regardless of base shape.
