Introduction to Graphing Proportional Relationships
When we graph a proportional relationship, the result is always a straight line that passes through the origin (0, 0). This visual representation helps us understand and work with proportional relationships.
The graph of a proportional relationship is a straight line through the origin.
By graphing proportional relationships, we can easily see the constant of proportionality (the slope), make predictions, and compare different relationships.
