Introduction to Unit Rates with Fractions
When working with ratios involving fractions, we still calculate unit rates the same way: by dividing to find the rate per one unit. However, dividing by fractions requires multiplying by the reciprocal.
To divide by a fraction, multiply by its reciprocal (flip the fraction).
This lesson focuses on calculating unit rates when ratios involve fractions, including measurements of length, area, and other quantities.
