Introduction to Sample Variation

Even when samples are randomly selected from the same population, they will produce different results. This natural variation is called sample variation or sampling variability.

By generating multiple samples, we can gauge how much variation exists in our estimates and better understand the reliability of our inferences.

Understanding sample variation helps us make more informed decisions and recognize that individual sample results may differ from the true population value.
